Storm Water attenuation including resurfacing work
Project scale and detail of works undertaken.
Installation of a 288,000-litre capacity drainage networks including polystorm PSM1 egg crate system, Charcon saficurb, Aco M150 channel drainage and surface water carrier pipe.
Due to the nature of our client’s business, plastic molding, the site attracts a lot of small plastic debris that congest the existing drainage system. As a result, we employed a specialist manhole manufacturer to provide prefabricated manholes with grillages to collect plastic debris.
Works also included the cold milling of the existing tarmac installations to allow renewal of the surfaces, the strengthening of an existing canopy structure that had been damaged and crash barrier installation.

Our scope of works comprised.
Delivery to programme and budget and works phasing
Our 12-week contract period was strategically phased to ensure the operations of the factory were not detrimentally impacted. We brought the project in early by 1 week.
Resourcing with a local supply chain
The works employed our direct labour with specialist subcontractors engaged for the road marking and structural steel element of the works.
