GM Machinery – Oldham

Demolition, Piling, Foundations, Slab, Drainage, Brickwork and Surfacing for new warehouse

Project scale and detail of works undertaken.

Started in June 2021 for our client GM Machinery residing in the unit next door, we demolished the existing warehouse while allowing them to keep operating at all time during the 6 months site. We were in charge of the construction of the foundation including bottom driven piles. All drainage work, installation of the 1300m2 main slab and all surrounding blockwork. Additional work saw us build a 25m Legato block wall with a footpath and associated ramps.

Our scope of works comprised

  • Excavation and disposal work.
  • 120m Bottom driven piles to maximum depth of 10m
  • Drainage & connection to UU Network
  • Reinforced concrete pad foundations and ground beams
  • Ground floor slab
  • Blockwork & Brickwork
  • Kerbs, footpath and surfacing

Delivery to programme and budget and works phasing

We kept the programme on track while adding a couple of extra to complete the external works. The project was delivered on an lump sump fix priced.
