Project scale and detail of works undertaken.
The exiting refurbishment project in the heart of Blackpool consisted for us in installing all the new sewers under the existing slab with foundations for new columns and goalpost (internal and external).
We started work in January 2022 and completed the works in March 2022.
Our scope of works comprised.
Saw cut existing slab to enable drainage installation
- New sewer pipes & chambers
- External foundations for steel column and wall
- Internal foundation for steel columns to support existing roof
- Foundations to goal post on site accesses
Delivery to programme and budget and works phasing.
The programme at Abingdon was relatively short, we were the first one to start the site and we progressed well while having to use relatively small machines due to access and height restriction.
The contract has been completed within the initial budget.
Resourcing with a local supply chain
The works was delivered using our own labour.
